Craig Travel Cockermouth was founded in Workington 40 years ago by Shirley Craig. Approximately 25 years ago, it was acquired by Stewart Phillips. Then, 16 years ago, Andrew Nelson purchased the company and remains the current owner. Andrew also owns Admiral Travel in Altrincham, Cheshire.
Under new ownership, Craig Travel Cockermouth flourished and eventually outgrew its original location, prompting a move to Station Street. We offer a wide range of travel services including package holidays, flights, coach holidays, ski holidays, escorted tours, cruises, long-haul trips, accommodation only, attraction tickets, travel insurance, and foreign exchange. All our holidays are financially protected, and as part of the Hays Travel Group, the UK’s largest independent travel group, we offer the best prices, proudly claiming, “We will not be beaten on price!”
