Favourite places to travel
Hawaii tops my list for its stunning climate and breathtaking scenery, highlighted by the thrilling drive along the road to Hana.
The Azores also hold a special place in my heart, with the abundance of wildlife and unforgettable whale-watching experiences fulfilling a lifelong dream.
The USA offers a diverse range of landscapes and attractions, from the frozen beauty of Lake Michigan to the warmth of California’s sun, the vibrant nightlife of Las Vegas, and the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon. Whether flying, driving, or taking a rail trip I have experienced all 3, the USA provides a plethora of unique experiences.
Greece and the many islands, captivate with its rich culture, warm hospitality, and delicious food, including souvlaki, Greek salads, and baklava, with top favourites being Corfu, Crete, and Naxos.

Experiences I would recommend
The journey along Maui’s Hana Highway is exhilarating and magical.
Whale-watching cruises in both The Azores and Monterey, California offered unforgettable encounters with plentiful whales and dolphins.
Exploring the Grand Canyon, including the Skywalk, provided a surreal experience of walking out over the rim and peering down through the glass.
Visiting the Sydney Opera House and taking a boat tour under the Harbour Bridge revealed both incredible architectural marvels and insightful information.
Finally, exploring Alcatraz in San Francisco left a lasting impression with its eerie atmosphere and memorable history.
